Week 4 Reaction_Ben

The video of China and Japan were quite amazing, I thought that those videos really reflected the tradition and characteristics of them, the Japan video combined with the traditional and modern aspect of Japanese society and showed the unique impression to visitors. Moreover, the China video concentrated on the traditional culture and diversity. Indeed, the Chinese society was a developed and flourished, and the American video was better than the older one, which showed the historical and cultural aspect of American society, I believed that the promoted video have to introduce the historical, cultural, unique and geographical aspect to the guests, it will give a deep impression to the visitors, it is a successful approach to show the country.

I really enjoyed the role play of the class, we played the different role in the small and large power distance during the various circumstance, it was interesting. In addition, we came from the different countries which represented the different power distance. Although the situation of drama was not true, it showed some features of the culture. It made us more easily to realize the principle of the chapter, it also made us involved in the social condition, we may experience the same situation in the daily life.

On the other hand, the culture was invisible, the effective way to know the detail of it which we have to involve and experience it, I looking forward to the other video how to narrate the features of those countries.
