Chapter 9 Response

In Chapter 9, we dealt with issues regarding organization throughout businesses and the different ways in which countries are able to take control of their corporations and how. It was interesting to read about the variances between European countries, Asian countries, and Anglo countries. Authority and efficiency mean different things to people in different countries- whether authority means following the rules, the situation or following a specific person in charge. It was also intriguing to read about the differences in companies being run like families as opposed to being run according to a large business model. The variations on structures, bureaucracies, and forms makes it possible to have incredibly different viewpoints even within the same countries.
