This week's class was spearheaded by Katherine and Margo. I definitely really like their presentation. Not only was it informative. It was a very interactive, informative, and creative way to present a topic that was heavily central on educational purposes than social aspects. So, I really applaud them to go above and beyond and innovating their presentation to be as engaging as it was.
I definitely enjoyed the discussion part because I was able to become more self-aware of my environment and different types of models of uncertainty avoidance and power distance and exactly where I would fall in. It was weird at first because when we did the quiz it was very prominent that I fell in the France business model. But, it was really hard for me to accept that accept because I have always had the mindset to have an organization or any type of work setting where there needs to be a balance of a sort of hierarchy but also have that team aspect. Like a diplomacy. It's interesting where values lie from looking at these different examples of ways of running organizations, businesses, and governments.
