Chapter 9 response
In Chapter 9, there are some example about the Five preferred configuration of organization in the organizational culture. There is an illustration picture clarified the different in Uncertaninty Avoidance and Power Distance. For instance, the Germany and Great Britain both in the low power distance, but the different level of Uncertainty avoidance will have different perform in the organization style. The Germany will prefer to professional bureaucracy, Standardization of skills and also operating core. However, the Great Britain will prefer to behave the adhocracy, mutual adjustment and support staff. It is quite interesting the different dimension will have the same affection for the organization style. I think this Chapter become more difficult to understand the concept I hope that I can know more in the class.
