Week 7 Reaction
In class last week, we talked about levels of uncertainty avoidance and the ways that we can trust one another. Esther, Ben, and Maia had us do a demonstration where one classmate had to close their eyes and trust that someone (or several people) would be there to catch them. I thought that this was a really good exercise because we really don't know most of our classmates that well, so choosing to trust them is a big issue and it worked out well for all of us. We also took the uncertainty avoidance level questionnaire and I was surprised at mine. I figured that I would have a high uncertainty avoidance level because I am pretty resistant to change, but I actually scored in the middle with a one point leaning towards the low uncertainty avoidance level.
