Ryo week 9

In the last class, we discussed what is the happiness. Kila and Yukari gave us very interesting class. They mentioned the two tips to be happy. First, when we are happy, we often think about others, not ourselves. Giving to others is happier than giving to ourselves. In other words, the spirit to give to others finally fulfill us. Second, we could change the worst situation to the happy situation to the some extent. We conducted the activity that we come up with the worst situation in our lives first and then think about how to change that situation to the happiest situation in the world. Although it might be impossible in reality to change the worst to the best, this is very useful to think the worst situation in different perspective. We are likely to think badly once we get caught up in a vicious cycle, however, we could change the situation to some extent by viewing things differently.
I think the happiness is the most important thing in our lives. However rich we may be, however hard we may study or work, we cannot satisfy ourselves since we compare our ability with others and there is no limit to excellence. The more important thing is to value the things or people around you. Happiness is always around you, and how to value them.
