and Margo really did a great job this week, the presentation made me have a
more in-depth understanding of the chapter!
The discussion
part was also intriguing, we discussed about the organizational culture. There’re mainly two types:
organic and mechanistic structure. It’s interesting that the culture of the organization
will be changed in order to fit the culture of that district or country. In some
degree, I think most of the large companies and government departments are
under the mechanistic structure, which are bureaucracy and
hierarchy. Though is systematic, however it may also lower the efficiency. Personally,
I love the organic structure better, which seems like more humanistic!
