Response to Chapter 10_Ben

First of all, Chapter Ten focuses on the idea of organizational culture, author point out the features of organizational culture which contains holistic, historical determined, related to the things anthropologists study, socially structure, soft and difficult to change; indeed, most of enterprises have their own culture, especially for those international enterprises, such as Starbucks, McDonald, Apple and Adidas, they form a particular culture for operation and promote their main value of their company to consumers. Despite the changing of leadership (such as Apple), their organizational culture is difficult to change; it is the characteristic as well as attraction of the company.  Moreover, the organizational culture exists various organizations, from a store to the national government.

The author mentions the IRIC project and the balance between value and practice for the Varlous level of culture, the occupational level links to the education level, and the industry is between occupational and organizational corporate. In my opinion, the organizational culture plays a significant role in enterprises, associations, etc, it provides a method to create their own culture and operates efficiently.
