This is an enjoyable class again. I am always looking forward to the interesting game made by our classmates. From the leader game. it was a surprise to me that our team because I thought it was not really matter to our performance with a changing leader before the game. But it turned out that we performed a little better than another team with a fixed leader.
After this game, we had an excellent presentation and video about organizational structure. Basically there are two types of structure, organic and mechanistic structure. I think Mr. Murillo raised a very good point. That is, organizations change in order to match the culture of the place. Say, Disney allows wine being sold in France's Disneyland. Cultural factor needs to be consider when a company operates in foreign countries. And about Macau, I think most of the companies are mechanistic because they operate according to their own roles. Sometimes it is very inefficient because they do not do anything that is not part of their duties.
