I didn't get to go to class this last week, but as I was watching the three videos, it was really thrilling to see all three different countries. I actually studied abroad to China last year, and I will be studying abroad next year again for a whole semester, so watching the video for China got me so much more excited, but it also made me see what I didn't see last time I was in China. In China, I saw corruption and so much pollution, but of course, one wouldn't want to have their country be perceived in that manner. Although, there were elements in the video that made me miss China. China definitely offers a whole new different perspective in life and nature and values are two different elements, but act as one. Another aspect of this video, is how China went through this civilization to a booming country.
The USA tourism was actually pretty tame for me. Maybe because that's not what I picture when it comes to USA. Although, it did offer some aspects like the different states and the diversity that the US encompass. I just felt that maybe seeing from American's eyes, it didn't fully encompass everything that America stands for. Maybe it's different for foreigners? Maybe it is captivating for them? While, for me, in the other hand, I thought it was pretty boring.
For Japan, it was super intriguing and captivating for me as I watched the video. I actually never knew how Japan looked like, I actually thought it probably looked like China too. But, with this video, there are distinctions. I definitely fell in love with how Japan looked like. Hopefully, maybe I can study abroad in Japan too.
