Last class, we watched three clips which were about the promotion of tourism in China, Japan and the USA. Each different place was unique and special in their own ways. It really depends on how the film is directed. When I saw the china one, there were a lot of geographical land marks and tons of smiling kids and even a Dalmatian. There were many smiling faces from different minorities of
China. The Japanese video was my most favorite because it was very peaceful and calming to me. There weren't many people that were in the video. The director really filmed a lot of detail that goes into the Japanese culture. The scenery was serine and it seemed like there were no people just beautiful structures. Now I'd love to go visit Japan. In the USA video, there were so many people smiling but I really didn't like the video. The scene transitions were very strange. There were a lot of people from different cultures and ethnicities. I discovered end that it is impossible to really show how a country is really like with a three minute video. Each video is different because of how the person directing it gave the feel or atmosphere.
